The conference was conducted by a well-known and experienced Polish single-handed sailor - Capt. Krzysztof Baranowski. Mr. Paweł Dangel, CEO of Allianz Group in Poland, as a main sponsor of the whole project took part in the conference as well.

The conference aroused a great interest of public, press and TV. Capt. Kaczorowski answered questions from journalists of popular yachting magazines, main polish newspapers and TV stations by turns. The questions regarded mainly the course of the project, preparations for the race, and Capt. Kaczorowski himself as well as his mood just in a few last days before the departure to France .

Everyone agrees that Transat 6.50 is one of the most spectacular projects in Polish sailing in the last few years. Thanks to the conference Capt. Jarosław Kaczorowski has become more popular in mass media. We will all keep our fingers crossed for him!
